CSRS Retirement
The Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) applies to federal employees hired prior to 01/01/1984. CSRS Retirement has certain rules and guidelines that must be followed to optimize your retirement benefits.
When you select your retirement date, it may be either an End of Month retirement, or it can be the 1st, 2nd or 3rd day of the month
Minimum Retirement Age – 55 years of age
Years of service required for CSRS Retirement

COLA (Cost of Living Adjustment) – age 55
While CSRS Retirement procedures are designed to allow federal employees to do it all themselves, there are many in’s and out’s, minor details that can be optimized to create the best possible retirement for you.
